  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Sausage
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • 3 Tbs Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbs Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tbs Cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp pepper
  • 2 Tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
  • 2 cups Beef Bone Broth
  • 15 oz Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Rotel (or jalapeño)
  • Optional: 1/4 Tsp Xanthan Gum for thickness

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion into small pieces.
  2. Set your pressure cooker to sauté mode. Add olive oil and sauté the diced onions until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and sausage; cook until browned.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cocoa powder, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Pour in beef bone broth along with fire-roasted tomatoes and Rotel (or jalapeño).
  6. If desired, add xanthan gum for thickness.
  7. Set the pressure cooker to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  8. After cooking, perform a quick release of pressure.
  9. Serve warm with toppings like cheese or sour cream.
