  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients before you start. Wash the broccoli and cut it into bite-sized florets.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for another 5–7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and add half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is creamy. Top with the remaining cheese and cover for 2–3 minutes until melted.
